Household Solar Lighting, Zambia
Many families in Zambia lack electricity at home. This project provides solar-powered lights, replacing kerosene lamps. The benefits are immediate: children can study safely, households save on fuel, and carbon emissions are reduced. Since 2021, over 600,000 solar lights have been distributed, avoiding more than 10,000 tonnes of CO2e (Carbon Dioxide equivalent).
