The Rosewood

As an existing contractor, Donau was approached to help during the refurbishment of the five-star, Grade II-listed Rosewood Hotel, located just a stone’s throw from the British Museum in London’s Holborn district. Recognised as one of the capital’s most luxurious hotels, the Rosewood has a long and fascinating history dating all the way back to 1912. Over a century on, it continues to impress and delight guests day in, day out.

Novotel Tower Bridge

Renowned hotel group Novotel approached us for a cleaning of the bedroom curtains. It was decided that the best way to clean the curtains was to use dry steam. We agreed to clean 10 rooms per week until all 203 rooms had been completed. All 203 rooms had their curtains cleaned on time, improving their appearance and enhancing the overall atmosphere of each room.  

South Place Hotel

80-room five-star hotel South Place contacted us through our website and wanted to schedule cleaning for all the bedroom carpets.  The hotel asked for the work to be done on Friday and thanks to our tailored approach, we agreed to the request and worked on the room’s carpets every Friday. The hotel staff were impressed with the outcome, as we over-delivered on our promise.

 

The Dorchester

One of our longest-serving clients, this prestigious hotel, approached us for their carpets to be cleaned. Working closely with the client, Donau has collaborated closely with the hotel, especially during the pandemic. We assisted as the hotel gradually reopened, providing necessary services at different stages for a full re-opening.  

 

The Rosewood

Donau was asked to help renovate the Rosewood Hotel. Our task was to take down the hotel curtains and store them during the refurbishment. After the completion of the refurbishment, we hung the curtains back up to finish the project to the satisfaction of the client. The hotel requested that we hang curtains in specific rooms ahead of schedule, as the floors were almost finished.  We cooperated with the hotel to meet these requests promptly and ensure the refurbishment was completed on time.
